Patrick Competelli is the Fire Chief for the City of Belleair Bluffs Fire Rescue. Chief Competelli has been a part of Pinellas County's Fire and EMS services for over twenty five years. Belleair Bluffs Fire Rescue is one of 18 Fire Departments under the umbrella of the Pinellas County Fire and EMS System. Station #43 provides fire and rescue services to the City of Belleair Bluffs, the Town of Belleair and multiple unincorporated areas of Largo and Pinellas County.

The role of the Belleair Bluffs Fire Department is to fight fires and provide emergency medical services and to our community and the communities around us. The immediate protection district for Belleair Bluffs Fire Rescue is 7 square miles with over 10,000 people. Our firefighters go through extensive training each year to make sure that they are up to date on all of the latest firefighting and emergency medical services techniques.
